His profiles in social media are all about cancer awareness (and RCs, of course 😉 ). Thanks to him, RC maniacs from around the World are putting (mostly) pink ribbons on their trucks to show their support in fighting this horrible disease. We have a pleasure to be a part of this campaing with sweetworldofs’ The Mighty Honcho 🙂 We are continously keeping fingers crossed for his wife and all people that in any way has cancer in their lives – if you in doubt, go to @rc_4_a_cure’s profile on Instagram to see that you are not alone!
Our fourth “RC person” that answered “5 questions to:..” is someone that should be a role model for all of us – Aaron aka rc_4_a_cure:
- How has your RC adventure started and what was your first RC?
My first rc was a Tamiya Hornet when I was a kid back in 1984. I got out of RC’s for a long time, but my 10 year old son got me back into it a couple years ago.
- Which RC (that you own or owned) is your favorite?
So far, I have to say that my Axial G6 is the most fun. My Traxxas Slash 2wd brushless is nice and fast, but I really like the technical aspect of crawling. I had to sell my built 2006 Jeep JK two years ago and the Axial is as close as I can get now to crawling! 😉 My son who is 10, was able to buy his first “real” rc and decided to buy an Axial Honcho.
- What is your dream RC?
I guess at this point in my rc hobby, my dream rc would be a built from the ground up scale all purpose crawler.
- What do you like the most in this hobby?
So far, I like the ability to meet new people who share the same interests all over the world. Especially through my rc_4_a_cure pages. Great times so far with him [my 10 year old son] and hope my 3 year old gets into it as well.
- What are 4 things that you always take on your RC adventures?
I have not had any real rc adventures as of yet, but I hope we can starting this spring after the snow melts.
