When you think “RC blog from Austria”, the first person that comes to mind is our today’s guest 🙂

We got to know him over a year ago, when we just started our website 🙂 He was kind enough to ask if he can put our logo on his website and if we’ll do the same. Of course we did! 😀

Since then we had a pleasure to meet him and his son during Recon G6 in Austria in 2015 (and we can’t wait for the last weekend of August to see them again! It’s gonna be fun 😀 ).

Getting back to the BIG stuff – we are pretty sure his gery’s modellbau blog is in the lead if it comes to RC websites in german! 🙂 Nice work, sir! 🙂

With a great pleasure we present to you answers to our “5 questions to:..” from someone, that is one of the nicest and most humble RC maniacs we met 🙂 Ladies and gentelmen – say hi to mastergery aka Gery aka Gerhard Heinrich! 😀

  1. How has your RC adventure started and what was your first RC?

The Tamiya Terra Crusher 1:8 Monster Truck started it all for me! – Nitro high tech with 2 speed and reverse in 1994! After some years racing Kyosho Buggies I took a break – Mini-Z got me back into RC. I own various scalers and bashers and like to have a good time with my son. My current “main” truck is a custom truggy with a jeep hood named “BLUE EVIL”.

  1. Which RC (that you own or owned) is your favorite?

I like all my cars – but on my short list are Team Associated SC 8.2e Short Course Truck, the HPI Trophy Truggy Flux and the Traxxas – the Summit has a special place in the market it combines bashing and scaling. 🙂

  1. What is your dream RC?

I would love to have an 8X8 Oshkosh M1070 – very tempting to get one – but I fear not to have the time to finish is such a complex build. 🙂

  1. What do you like the most in this hobby?

To meet and have fun with like-minded people. I love to combine my passions taking pictures, filming and blogging. To have a good time with friends is my number one priority

  1. What are 4 things that you always take on your RC adventures?

RC-Car, Camera or Phone, Spare Batteries and Tools 🙂
