5 questions to: Lizard offroad (Gabriele Biaggi)

Our today’s guest is someone who stole our hearts last year in Italy 😉

He was half of the awesome duo, that made us feel in Italy as long-not-seen part of a great family (the other half is Simone Cantoia!). We can’t thank both guys enough for hospitality, care and time they spent on preparing 1st Italian Recon G6 in 2015! It was something special from the beginning to very end 😉

But he is not only about being great host! No no – he also takes part in competitions. And he is good in winning them 😀

With a great pleasure we present to you answers to our “5 questions to:..” from someone, who is not only an ultimate RC maniac but also has some skills in woodwork 😉 Give a round of applause for Lizard offroad aka Gabriele Biaggi! 😀

  1. How has your RC adventure started and what was your first RC?

I started about 5 years ago with an HPI Crawler King with Defender body 😀 I had some fun with the stock car before turning it into a 2.2’s crawler. After that not much time passed when I met some good guys in my area with the same passion. It was the real start of my RC addiction 😀

  1. Which RC (that you own or owned) is your favorite?

Surely my favourite rig is my axial XR10. I bought it immediatly after the Crawler King and some years later I’m still driving it. I really can’t imagine to separte myself from it because it is more than a RC car for me – is piece of my RC life.

  1. What is your dream RC?

I think it would be an RC rig, but I’m happy with what I have ( 3 crawlers and 2 scale truck) and they are enought to have a lot of fun. If you ask me that last year I would have told you my dream is going to RC Crawler Worlds, but this year we have it in France and my dream is going to become true 😀 So a good dream could be to be able to follow all the european 2017 G6 series!

  1. What do you like the most in this hobby?

In first is the possibility to make real what you have on your mind, build custom parts and increase performance and test it, but also hang out surrounded by nature with friendly people with the same passion.

  1. What are 4 things that you always take on your RC adventures?

Spare Batteries and tools for sure, but also beers and good food are essential for a good RC run!
