I recongize his Defender from way back, but with tons of awesome RC maniacs it’s not easy to keep on track with everyone..
We put the name to the rig when he took part in our Halloween giveawaya – his “Witches Ride” was simply epic. He got our attention and after checking out his social media profiles we couldn’t not ask him our “5 questions to:..” 🙂
From an epic drifter body, through one of the prettiest Defenders out there, to a scale garage with some insane accessories – he is an ultimate RC maniac 🙂 And he re-started his RC adventure with Sprint 2 for drifting just as I did! 😀
This time we have for you answers to our “5 questions to:..” from France! 🙂 We only wish we knew french, so we could understand what he is talking about in his videos… (we watch them anyway 😉 ). Ladies and gents we give you Chris RCtutosfr! 😀
- How has your RC adventure started and what was your first RC?
My first RC adventure starts when I was a child with the only Futaba buggy that ever exist, the FX10. It was a basic RC but I loved it. I stopped for a long time to restart in the Hobby in 2012 with a Sprint 2 for the drift. Then, I discovered Scale, created a team, then a website… the addiction made his job 🙂
- Which RC (that you own or owned) is your favorite?
It’s hard to choose which is my favorite. I love all my RCs. My Defender is great, my drift chassis is awesome too. But I really love my modified CC01. this small thing goes everywhere, sometimes better than my defender, and I don’t hesitate to immerge it when I find a giant puddle 🙂
- What is your dream RC?
My dream RC is, like a lot of guys, the Jeep Capo. I love scale, and the details of this model is just awesome. In fact, except this one, I think there is at least 15 or 20 models I would love to have. RC addict you said?
- What do you like the most in this hobby?
In this Hobby, the thing I love the most is to meet people and see their work. The advantage with social medias is that you now can meet some people from everywhere. I love to create, make some bodies, some decor, with the small detail that make everything. The other thing I love is to transfer informations, with my website, making tutorials or videos (off course on my level of knowledge, I’m not an expert).
- What are 4 things that you always take on your RC adventures?
The 4 things I bring each time when I do RC are first my camera or smartphone, for pictures and videos.
I always bring a set of tools, in case I have an issue.
The most important thing, when I go in forest: I never forget my mosquito repellent, I have a huge mosquito fanclub that wait for my arrival each time.
The forth thing I bring is a rain poncho, to keep bag and radio safe from water.
