Project G6 #3 Links & steering

We are heading to the end of the “stock build” – it’s second before last post about it čÖé Here come Project G6 links and steering! What I like about the KIT version of this rig is that it contains metal links čÖé As I wrote at the beggining of this post – next week I will show you the last bunch of pictures from the stock build. So all the fun is gonna start on April 6th, 2015 čśë Stay tuned! čÖé Post brought to you by:

Project G6 #2 Driveshafts & shocks

First step – driveshafts. Fortunately they are “the old type” (WB8) and I don’t have to change anything, as I like them better than “the new type” (WB8-HD). REMEMBER! It’s important to hold both couplers of the driveshaft the same way, while putting the driveshaft together. What I mean is to look at the pins at both ends – they should be in parallel position, so the whole driveshaft works smoothly čÖé It will work either way, but you’ll notice the difference čÖé Second step – shocks. I really like putting them together čÖé As you can see – all of the parts are stock. But not for long, not for long… čśë Post brought to you by:

Project G6 #1 Axles

I’m not gonna write about the whole process of “Project G6 axles build”, as I believe most of you saw Axial’s axles build more than once on youtube – just show you on pictures, how I did it and how I protect axles from water. Remember to check if they work just fine right after you put them together! If you don’t, and something is not right, you risk ruining them faster, than you think! Post brought to you by:
