It’s finally time, to show you how we’ve painted our Komodo! ๐Ÿ™‚

But first, we’d like to say a few words about the body – it’s thicker than the ones from Axial. Hopefully it won’t casue faster damage – time will tell. The bumper and other accessories, that can be screwed to the body, are epic! They fit the body really well – we actually were surprised, how well ๐Ÿ™‚

As you can see, we used this box also to paint our Sakura D4 ๐Ÿ˜‰

And that’s how our Komodo looks like ๐Ÿ™‚ We didn’t want to put tons of stickers on it – it supposed to be clean and simple, as all the accessories “make” this body ๐Ÿ™‚

As we are not big fans of body posts, we made a bed cover and put the roof basket on it to hide them. It holds itself on a few small magnets. We think the basket looks even better here than in the original place ๐Ÿ™‚

The thing that we didn’t like about this body is that the masking stickers didn’t fit well the spots they should protect from the paint (f.e. lights). But despite that – it was just perfect ๐Ÿ™‚ And it looks badass, too ๐Ÿ˜€

Paint we used:

PS-23 Gun Metal Tamiya 86023 (2 cans)
PS-5 Black Tamiya 86005 (less than 1 can)
