If you are looking for a great teammate forget about our today’s guest – he is taken by “The RC Nennox and Friends Team”! 😀
How did it happen? It was a sunny, September morning, year 2016… 😉 But seriously – it doesn’t matter HOW we became a team during this year’s Recon G6 in Italy – the important part is that we had great time and to be honest – we hope that next time we meet, we’ll drive together again! This time also with our last week’s guest, lovely Cupcake 🙂 ps did you know that they are really into food? Sandra has another great companions to talk about her favorite topic that is everything cooking-realted 🙂
With a great pleasure we present to you answers to our “5 questions to:..” from a very special Italian friend of ours, that was a big part of making our last trip to this beautiful country so special 🙂 Give a round of applause to – Rozzo! 😀
- How has your RC adventure started and what was your first RC?
My very first RC was a Tamiya Holiday Buggy in the ’80. My dad introduce me in this hobby when I was a child.
Growing age, growing RC scale and speed so I start racing in 1/8 offroad, then 1/8 road up to 1/4 road.
My family supported the passion for competion and my dad was a great mechanic.
When I was teenage he bought a Suzuki Samurai so we forget the RC and learn driving 1:1 offroad.
Looking backward this was a milestone to the scale RC.
3 years ago someone talk to me about scale offroad and I fall in love with this category
- Which RC (that you own or owned) is your favorite?
I like my noisy HiLux and like work on it and evolve it both in scale looking and performance but may be the favorite was the 1/4 scale.
Big scale have the realistic speed, acceleration and weight to “drive”
- What is your dream RC?
Speaking about car I dream something BIG like Axial Yeti XL or multiaxis like RC4WD Beast 6×6
I dream run USA Recon G6 and some huge event like axial fest.
Also have a working space dedicated to RC will be great
- What do you like the most in this hobby?
I like the never ending work on scale car, the thrill of RC flight and the competion in touring class.
Meeting people with same passion, have fun and challenge myself on natural trail in Recon G6 is my prefered activity.
I’m also lucky because my wife like scale offroad too!
- What are 4 things that you always take on your RC adventures?
During weekend four-wheeling I thake with me only some tools and a phone to take track of the run and take picture.
When go to big event I fear forget something at home so I take…everithing! Tool, parts, motor, servos, link replace ecc
