In this post I’m going to show you what electronics I put into #ProjectG6 🙂
Spektrum SR301 – I have Spektrum radio, so there is not much to explain 😉 I could choose waterproof SR300WP, but as you can see on the picture above, SR301 now has waterproof coating, so I’ve thought there was no point to spend more and I’m gonna give it a try 🙂
Savox SW-1210SG – Waterproof servo, so I don’t have to worry that it’s gonna stop working after driving in mud and water. Why this one? Because a very nice guy from CKRC suggested it, as he uses the same model himself and I already have two Savox servos in other rigs.
Tekin FX-R crawler combo (esc and motor). I already had one esc from Tekin (first for Wraith, now I use it in Trail Finder 2) and I like it, so that was an easy choice. The advantage of FX-R is easy access to setup (by using two buttons). Of course you can buy hot wire and do this using a computer. The downfall is that it is not waterproof, but I have a remedy to that 😉 When it comes to the motor – at first I wanted 35T motor, but it was unavailable, so I changed to 45T. I was a bit worried that 45T is gonna be to slow, but after taking #ProjectG6 out few times I can see that it works great.
