I’m not a fan of mounting the body with body pins and making holes in it, so when we got a chance to build a drift project with ATees, it was pretty obvious, we’re gonna use something different ๐Ÿ˜‰

That’s why, instead of the regular way of mounting, we’ve chosen Killerbody’s Aluminum Stealth Body Mounts. And they were blue, so they fit this rig perfectly ๐Ÿ™‚

When we got them, it turned out, that they are very easy to mount. The only issue we had was choosing the right high for the mount in front of the car – if you cut the body post to low, you’ll have a problem ๐Ÿ˜‰ Other thing that we had “fun” with was sticking the magnets in the right spot on the body. It turned out that the 3M tape works great, but only once ๐Ÿ˜‰ When you make a mistake – you need to take another piece. But all in all – we love this way of mounting the body. Not sure if it’d work as good in offroad cars (to much rollovers and hits, I think), but it’s just perfect for onroads! ๐Ÿ™‚
